Been to the Arizona Memorial a number of times. Prayed there. Hawaiian flowers into the water there. It's understandable how emotions swell up at the Memorial...looking into the water,,,the ship almost touchable and knowing sailors are permanently entombed in it.

Spent 26 hours in Pearl Harbor and caught duty section on board the troop transport USS Breckinridge. Never got to see the Memorial. Just think, 26 hours out of what was supposed to be a 2 year tour of duty and never got to see anything.
