This whole debt limit, sequestration, can't-pass-a-budget nonsense makes the US look vulnerable on the world stage. DoD is being gutted. Readiness will suffer. It's bound to enbolden international scumbags to pull stunts like this and it needs to be fixed.
It's hard to be respected as the Big Man on the Block if you can't pay your bills and keep your house in order.
