I was 120 miles north on business and found a full shelf of Tula .45s at $19.99 a box. I loaded up as best I could.

In this area, .22lr, .223, and particularly 9mm, are like gold. My LGS limits 9mm to one box per customer per day, when they have it.
Wow! .50 a round? WalMart has been out of 9mm and .45 caliber ammunition the last 10 times, I asked, until this morning. I got the last two boxes of Winchester White Box 45, 230 grain, hollowpoints, for 33.95 per box of 50. I counted myself lucky, as the smaller LGS's have nothing.
