I traded my two DW Guardians for it. They were safe queens as I would not shoot them in matches and I usually carry the CCO or now the ECO. I will miss the Guardians (especially the 9mm) for sure but this Nighthawk is a thing of beauty. It is all black (and I mean ALL). I shot it at the plate range at my club today and it was like cheating!

The gun is number 500 (500th Nighthawk ever produced - NHC 00500) and was made in 2006 but it had gone back to NHC last year for a complete refit and refinish. It is essentially new and looks it! The new test target is a one holer.

These are not my pics ... I actually found pics online of the exact gun before it made it's way to me ... even though I bought it locally. I have swapped out the rear sight to a 10-8 U notch. I think I will coat a flat trigger in black Duracoat and add that later. Otherwise it is pure perfection!

If you must have a Fetish, this is a good one to have!
