Don't tell anyone, but I've got two of those 19's that "slipped" into the US. They have the Austrian proof marks and I'm absolutely positive someday I can sell them and make a fortune. (Probably won't live long enough)

Always recommend that a person buy their own version of an issues weapon to practice with.

I couldnt bring myself to carry anything but a 1911. But certainly your circumstances make since to me.

I had one of those. I found someone that wanted it more than I did.
