"Nothing special"? It's fun to shoot and made in America. Seems like it could be an excellent purchase. Good luck for many enjoyable years with it. I love shooting 22s with the kids.

 , I also like the longer barrel better. The shorter barrel version I traded some ammo for so I was cool with it.

i picked up the bottom one in the mid 90's, maybe 96. I was never overly pleased with its accuracy. It was a good plinker, but it was most accurate when thrown.

Very Nice John, but don't let Ivan see it.....
  I have a little Ruger Convertible that I pick up used (very little , 1995 vintage) and love to shoot mine. Have fun..... Now you just needs boots and a HAT Gary
