I've had a 642 for years.
I don't intend to part with it. It's my "pocket" gun. no problem whatsoever for me to bust a box or two of ammo thru it I won't shoot 357 mag much at all in this new pistol. When I carry it , it will be stoked with 357mag HP ammo though. the "next" hi-octane lt wt snubby on my list is a S&W 329 w/2.5" barrel why??...just because ......  ..L.T.A.
