 !!! I wonder how you got so lucky my friend!!! Martin said that since they were not supposed to be made until 2013 that you are to send it to me ASAP, I will be waiting for it to arrive!!!

Thanks guys! I love this pistol!
Dug around in the parts drawer today and found enough stuff to ditch the plastic msh, ambi-safety, and factory grips. The msh needs reparked, but it will due until I decide if I like the pistol set up this way. I have a nice extended mag release that came out of my Ruger that's made of bar-stock steel...so it may get swapped in after I order a catch lock for it.

Congrats - that's a beauty. I've never shot an RIA 1911 - but there seems to be a lot of happy folks using them - and you can't beat the price! Is there a downside?
