YES....even the local shops here the prices are lowest I have ever seen them. I am really liking this trump administration. Even powder went down. My loved 231 was down to 23.99 where it was up as high as 29.99.

My struggle is whether to go snatch up a police trade-in S&W .38 4" stainless priced at $350. I know, what am I waiting for.

Well I am not buying yet. This would not be a NEED but just a want. Even though a full size 9 would be good to have, I have read enough to think the SD may not be a great one. The Shield has higher capacity and is 9mm vs .380. Without the laser the Bodyguard isn't as appealing. So for $45 more I think I would choose the Shield. Now I need to think about it for a little and hope it sells out, then kick myself for years to come!

The Shield 9mm is a great ccw. The capacity is not bad considering how thin the grip is. Also, you can get the "mag guts" kit and increase your mag to +2 with no added length. If anyone here doesn't have a shield and has been thinking about one.....now is the time. That price is a steal!

Love it... "Need" vs. "Want"... A few years back, I told my wife that I wanted to pick up a new pistol. She said... and I quote: "You have several... what do you NEED a new gun for?" I sat back for a moment... looked at her and replied: "I didn't say I NEED a new gun, I said that I wanted a new gun."

Now you know... if you're married... what "the sigh" sounds like. "SIGH..." OK, so why do WANT a new gun?" I let her stew on it for a few seconds and then said: "How much did our 401K's increase this past year?".... She gave me a number in the single digits... and I replied "My gun collection has increased over 100% in the past 12 months." Mrs. reply?....

"OH.... Ok."

I've never heard another word on the subject. Now you may not be able to use this as long as Trump is in office, but it's invaluable when the Dems are at the helm.
