I thought it was going to be a joke about crazy braces in Florida. I'm disappointed.

Y'all stay dry now, ya hear?

With 80%+ humidity that is impossible to do even without the severe weather!

Just got reports from family in Wesley Chapel that they got a quick squall that threw some branches and a stop sign around. Or it could have been a local who hit Total Wine for hurricane supplies!

I'm from Wesley Chapel. There was a Tornado Warning between 14:15 and 14:45 EDT today, but the area was actually North Pasco (St. Leo) and much of Hernando County..... <pause>

Well, now we're under a 2nd Tornado Warning until 15:45 but for NW Pasco and Hernando (I'm SE Pasco). A Supercell is moving north with rotation detected.

Back to ya later...

I tied my smoker to the car port. Too damn big and heavy to put inside. From the sounds outside and the waving of the pine trees, the ass kicking is fixin' to commence

One of the first storms my wife and I went through as new homeowners had us cranking down shutters, clearing the yard of all debris. That included bringing my new gas grill into the living room. After day two waiting for a storm that stalled I seriously considered lighting the grill up inside. We prepared way to early and the storm barely brushed us. Indoors with shutters for two days was mind numbing. I was getting cabin fever and had to get that grill out to do some grilling!
