I've investigated hundreds of shootings, so I gave up a long time ago on having an opinion or getting up in arms based on what the press or others may put out. It's either piecemeal, limited, false, or a combination thereof.
There's been many times where a shooting initially looked bad and after a thorough investigation it was determined (by us and a grand jury) that it was justified. Then there were others that, unfortunately, were bad. My point is this, these stories are never complete nor give an accurate or complete picture. To that end NY does suck, but so does NJ. I live 20 minutes outside of NYC. Every time I go into the city I have to download my gun and load up with non-hollowpoints.
