Top is tusk sliced like a tree with similar rings as below.
 the middle is tooth -molar- sliced top to bottom as below  and the bottom is tooth slice horizontally front to back as below  Thanks for looking.. mammoth tooth below

I've got a nice big piece of mammoth tusk [ 1/3 of the round that's 10 inches long and about 10" in circumference ] I've been trying to get a few knifemakers to use on one of my bowies for years. They won't touch it for fear of ruining the rest of the piece on me even though I told them to go for it, I'd be fine with one set of grips out of it.
Nice looking mammoth grips sir
