I prefer the framelock like yours over liner locks as they don't exhibit near as much potential to release the blade under lateral stresses applied.

What steel is used in that blade? aus8? Nice foe the price, but I can do without the wave feature, though there's no question a lot of people use them

The blade is 8Cr13MoV. I prefer the frame locks as well for the same reason. This is my first blade with the "wave" feature and I actually like it. I also like the "flipper" deployment on my other blades too.

"She" is sure I have been way to old for stupid despite ample evidence for a long long time. She is very patient and a supreme if addled optimist. She has never slapped me as she is sure that even after 50 plus years there is somewhere in me a super stud hiding if she is just nice enough. Did I mention addled?
