Default New Grips

What a great surprise when I checked my mail today and had a package from at Lonestar Grips. When I opened it, I found a gorgeous set of Officer Grips in Burl Walnut.

In compliance with the COTEP "pictures talk and BS walks" policy, I rushed and took a picture. I did NOT polish up the gun to show off the snazzy grips.

Thanks ! Great job.

Happy New Year to all.

Those are very nice. Like the grips and the gun. STI is probably my favorite gun...that is one fine set up.

Thanks. I prefer steel and wood guns. (The Spartan III has a plastic MSH and trigger though.) The Spartan III 9mm is STI's least expensive offering and I wanted a 9mm officer model. I have noticed that the dark sights are harder for my 62 year old eyes to pick up quickly, so I will eventually get night sights, or a plain gold dot. I have a Milt Sparks Summer Special on the way from Brownells. Happiness is a new project gun.

Nice, Joe! Beautiful gun and the grips are the finishing touch!

Nice work, !

Now when can I have my camel bones?

they're coming along nicely, i have to hand sand them down to thickness, if i use the belt sander they will start to crack.
