I truly feel for ya Doc. I recently went through the same thing with my Uncle. I got the entire collection located in his house. I'm sure your Great Uncle will rest in peace, knowing his inventory is in safe hands. I know mine is.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

If you find yourself in a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Sorry for your loss, may he live on in his firearm legacy. My grandfather is currently in possession of some firearms from my grandmothers uncle that ar earmarked for me. That will be 4 generations they have traveled through. Also my father in law has a Colt detective special in the Colt box that was his dad's. I will make sure my son inherits that. I firmly believe we are caretakers of things that will out last our mortal bodies.
