Links not working but, yes, weapon has to be "completely" concealed, near invisible in Texas. My brother in law lives there and he warned me about that. Even a little printing through a shirt can get you there but I also saw a bill was put forward in the Texas Assembly (or Senate) to reverse that and make accidental/incidental revealing of the weapon no longer a crime. I hope it goes thru because I'd like to retire down there.

It sickens me the things happening now a days. But I do have to say that this guy was a complete jacks@#. Yes they were out of line for stopping him but don't add ignorance and a big mouth to the situation. Not to mention he did not disclose his side arm till after he was in hand cuffs.
Anyways just my 2˘ worth.

I lived in Texas. That does not apply to long guns. A rifle can be carried, in the open, in public. The cop was in the wrong, plus it was near Temple, not Houston or Austin. And from what i gather, the prosector had the rifle destroyed..he's in deep kimchee

This is crazy!!!

The Master Sergeant's goal was to raise $11,000.00 for his legal defense fund, and he's almost at $50,000.00...totally awesome. I recommend that anyone who can afford to do so, help fund this legal defense fund. The second amendment needs to be defended, and these bozos need to lose their jobs!

If you have a Facebook or twitter account, I would recommend posting this so that your friends hear about it. Thanks, , for making us aware of this!
