I've been using Hodgden Clay's for .45ACP target loads. I've also used AA #2, #7, Unique and Power Pistol - .45 and 9mm.
Based on nothing more than perceived recoil (using middle of the road loads) I'm a bit surprised that Clays' is so high on the burn rate chart. The others, Power Pistol especially, feel a lot snappier. I'm sure there's a reason, and I'm sure that Dave knows! This is good info - thanks Dave! Lane
