Currently, I am working for an outsourcing company that is hired, by Kaiser Permanente, to handle it's mail/shipping, printing, and generally anything they can think of to make us do. I've been here for the past 14 1/2 years. I'm currently labeled the "Office Coordinator" which means I do everything.
Before that, I was an auto mechanic for a couple of different dealerships, but gave that up due to health reasons.
A few years ago, I went back to school and studied Photography, and graduated and planned to start a business, but that was the end of 2008, and you know what's happened since then. I've had a few odd jobs, but nobody wants to actually pay for a photographer, since it's so easy.
I have been studying, more recently, to get my FFL, since gun sales have been through the roof. Not easy, but doable in MD.

Just a little story:
When I was 8, a neighbor friend and I had decided to join the Marines together when we "grew up," being that his dad was a Marine, and we both thought that was just the coolest thing. He was a couple years behind me, so I was going to wait after high school for him to finish.
Cut to 12 years later, and I got hurt playing in a football game (hit twice in the gonads HARD) and ended up getting a biopsy done. Turns out it was cancer, and my friend joined without me. After a few years of recovery and testing, etc, the Gulf War was getting started, and even though I was not in the same shape I was in before, I tried to enlist in the Army. I was turned down because I had gained too much weight during those years. I was disappointed, but totally understood.
So even though I never got to serve, I've always had a place in my heart for those who did, and currently do. So I just became a mechanic, worked on cars, and shot my guns, bored to tears most of the time. Maybe that's why I'm constantly searching for something I don't have already. Seems I have this hole I can't fill.

I spent 20 years in the ARNG, Air Force Reserves, and Air Force. Since then, I have done various machining jobs. Now, with the help of the VA, I am a student. I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

I'm a retired USAF MSgt. For the last 17 years, I've been doing technical support on fiber optic telecommunications equipment.
