Thumbs up Gold Coast Gunslingers New Season 2013

Howdy Ya'll
Hope every one had a goof Holiday season and a Happy New Year.

Today was the first club match of the Gold Cost Gunslingers and the last day to practice before the FLORIDA STATE COWBOY (SASS) CHAMPIONSHIP. It will be this week in St Augustine, Florida and will be 10 stages over 2 days.

So we started off with a 6 stage club match and since we are in Florida, we had a good rain most of the morning. But being good cowboys, we shot through the rain and by the last two stages it cleared and stated to heat up.

Any way, we had four posses for the day with about 80 shooters and about a dozen on-lookers.

I must say that one of our top shooters had a stage DQ (he moved his feet in the shotgun stage) you will see in the short video on his stage.

I had one of my best shoots and with my New Wyatt Earp hat, I was able to fight off the rain and keep my scores down.

I will produce photos and text from the State Championship with some of my regular shooters and our own .

So sit back, grab a cold one from the ice box and look on..........

AND YOUR POSTER ON STAGE 1

*****JUST CLICK ON EITHER OF THE ABOVE SHORT VIDEOS AND WHEN YOU GET TO THE VIDOE CLICK THE LOWER RIGHT HAND CORNER FRO FULL SCREEN VIEWING, ESC KEY TO BACK TO NORMAL*************

Next week from the State Championship

YeHaaaaaaaa

What was the DQ for? All I saw was a step.

The DQ was for moving both feet during the shotgun stage. The odor ion was on the other side of the "wooden horse". SASS rules say you can
Move one foot while
On the line with a loaded gun, but not both feet. You can see that Dave realized what he did as soon as it happened.
Just part of the game.

Wow! That looks like fun!

I wonder if we have anything like that around here? Gonna check around.
