Default New poodle shooter

Not gonna use it like an Erector set, just for 'yotes, armadillos and nefarious individuals who deserve my wrath. Ruger AR 556, with forward assist and dust cover, came with sight tool and one 30 round P mag
Tried mounting the Burris micro dot Ronpaul sent me, but it set way too low to use. Ordered the tallest riser I could (1") and hope that helps. Oh yeah, Rural King is like the REDNECK NIRVANA! They had live chickens and ducks, and I even scored some tree rat ammo

Congrats on the rifle.

But your taste in bedding leaves something to be desired.

I've never handled Ruger's version, but comments about them on the Net seem to be overwhelmingly positive.

The 1" riser should be high enough.

Now go out and slay some varmints.
