Default One of JMB's Earlier Designs

I ran across this "real " Baby Browning (not a Model 1906) while out and about today:

It came with two mags, and shot perfectly when I stopped at the range on the way home.

I took down the gun and both mags when I got home. The gun hadn't been cleaned in many years, and I don't think that either mag had ever been apart.

I'm a sucker for old Browning designs that still function well.

That's pretty cool.....someday I'm gonna take a week and do nothing but travel to every pawn shop in Florida I can find and buy every rarely seen gun sitting in the dust on the shelf. People don't realize how many little pawn shops there are across America...Who knows what's out there

Glad y'all like it!

No; the Baby's are .25acp.

Photobucket finally settled down, and I was able to upload a pic of the other side:

I found it in a LGS, and they still have a very minty FN model, plus two 1908 Colts.

That one certainly didn't sit in a drawer all it's life. I've had several, they run great. Best of luck and nice score Rick

A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.

And shepherds we shall be, for Thee, my Lord, for Thee.
Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, that our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command.
So we shall flow a river forth to Thee, and teeming with souls shall it ever be.
In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.
