Default Anybody Seen This Holster

This holster looks very interesting for those who do not like to wear their shirts out and does not want anything showing like snaps.

Has anybody seen this and what your thoughts were.

Definitely not for me, I do not like plastic next to my 1911!!

Like I said in another post, I will stick with my COTEP holster from Lane!!

None better in my opinion!!!

Full size 1911! (5")

Mid Size 1911! (4")

Compact 1911! (3.5")

I'll put in my 2 cents...I agree I only use leather on a 1911, just my deal, I do have a blackhawk retention holster for my though and like it...but its probably not a tight fit like the one mentioned...I think I would pass, I wear a fullsize all the time when I carry...no issues....

I agree, but that hunk of junk is no way a threat to Lane!!!

Just my opinion!!

I appreciate the loyalty... but I'm always interested in other ideas that come up. This one is interesting in the fact that it's truly a concealed, tuckable. NOTHING shows.

It would be interesting to try to see how comfortable it is - I'd think that with a heavier gun - say a CBOB with 8+1, you'd have to cinch it up tight to keep it in place - possibly uncomfortably tight.

I wonder if you could add some suspenders to it to help carry the weight...

Lane

hmmmm.... if the belly band (waist cinch) were about 8" wide... I COULD lose about 5" of my 55 year old belly in an INSTANT! Then Mrs would be looking at me differently... then I would feel desirable, then... Oh Heck... YOU don't want to know where this is going! LOL!!!!

Like Lane says... its an interesting take on a good (crossbreed) design. They say that copying is the best form of Flattery. Well..... When Galco, Bianchi and Blackhawk start copying Crossbreed.... I'd say Chris had a good idea. I hope this designer makes some bucks on his creation.

I don't see any reason that someone (Lane, for example) couldn't do a similar holster with all leather holster plus a velcro strap thingy. On the other hand, it wouldn't be too hard to just find/make a belt to wear your OWB next to your skin under your shirt and pants.

I too am a fan of leather holsters. I prefer the OWB styles, not feeling comfortable with the IWB styles. Never really liked the Kydex, except maybe for a few knife designs.
