Default My AK47. A look inside. Pics.

Just thought some of you would like to see what the inside of an AK looks like in the field strip mode.

Nice Dave. I've never held an AK, let alone shoot one. What is that twisted wire? Is it a fire control spring?

Inside? Its connected to the hammer.
I love shooting it. Its powerfull. Like a 30-30- short. Not much recoil. Simple and easy to clean.
I like it
Dave

Yes, that is what I was talking about. To me, that's an odd part. Twisted wire, who knew. I shot a guy's SKS one time. I know it's not the same but that's as close as I've gotten to one. Is yours Russian, Chinese?

I'd like to have an AK just because you know they will always shoot, even if they are full of mud, sand, whatever. I've thought about buying one for the last several years but wind up sticking with AR's.

Oh, I think I saw an ad for that company in American Handgunner. Was it made down in Florida?

SAW style Grip..
Right side folding stock. Tapco.
AK74 style flash suppressor.
Tapco trigger.
Solid pin retainer that replaces the Shepard crook.
