Sight Tool Recommendation.
I ordered up the Strobel Front Sight Installation and Removal Tool from our friends at Midway. The Large brown truck arrived with my sight package from Brownell and 10 minutes later, I had a new front sight on my Rock Island GI.
This thing is great. No hammering needed at all so no shock. It is smooth and even works so easy I think I'll order new sights for my .38 super just so I can use it again. I recommend it for the wannabesightinstalledonmyownbyme do it your selfer. Professional Gunsmiths, y'all are on your own. disclaimer: I work on my own stuff because I want to and I am NOT a gunsmith, machinist and have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express. Proceed at your own risk.
