Very nice, congrats Mike!!!
Of course you know you will hear it about the rail.............I like them but some do not. Just like I do not like a bobbed 1911 and some do!!!

Nice piece. I think a rail for a light is ideal for a bed side protection handgun for the same reason I have crimson trace laser grips on my carry gun. Were I to come to my senses I would have one 1911 with both. Bingo, a reason as sound as my last half dozen for why I need one more..... thanks for the post Padre.
