Default My First Dan Wesson C-Bob

This is the first D.W. 1911 that I have seen in a local shop and there was no way that I was leaving witout it. I have been adicted to 1911'S since the early 70's and have spent a small fortune on them over the years. At this time the only ones that have stayed in my collection is a S&W 945, A full size Para Sterling and now the Classic Commander Bobtail.
I will try to do a range report later this week but my first outing with the Bobtail was amazing. It feed everything that I put in it ,I started out with Jacketed to break it in but it was'nt needed. I shot 275 rounds witout a single malfunction including my lead swc reloads.
There may be others like it but THIS ONES MINE!!!!

I made it from some walnut burl a friend gave me some Buffalo leather on the bottom and a broken mule deer antler shed my son found. I think it turned out pretty cool.

Cool? I think it's absolutely beautiful. I'll have to see if I can make me one of those for my KIMBER!

Welcome to the Cbob club! Like others have said, the stand is very cool! Showed the pic to my co-worker, says he'll try to duplicate your stand for me, thanks for the idea.
