Question Colt Trooper Question for you guys

Guys, I recently found a Colt Trooper Mark III with an 8 inch barrel. Colt says serial number is a 1980 Model, Official Police Officer Model. It is Blued and condition I'll say 90-95%. Smooth Action and The Blueing is VERY Good! Original Wood Grips. I can get it for $950.00. No Box or papers.
Question: Is that a decent price? I can tell it has not been shot a lot. Kept in a safe most of it's life probably.
What do you guys think of $950.00? Decent, or too high?

Sounds about right but, I’m no Colt expert. Hope someone comes along that knows for sure.

Gun Broker has them running from around 499-1200, with most in the 800 range. I did not most bids for in the 499 range, with no bids in the 800 and up, from what I noticed. I have owned a King Cobra and Python; and still own a Detective Special and Diamondback. All have been very smooth, well made revolvers. IMHO, what it's worth is up to what you think it's work. I have enjoyed all of mine over the years.

Saw that on GB. However, not many 8 inch barrel Troopers, and hardly any that are in the condition this one is! Most on GB are 6 inch. 8 inch barrel models seem to be more Rare! I think I'll give the man $950.00 Cash
