Yesterday was my first CAS shoot and it was lots of fun. I would like to give a special thanks to Gary for all his advice and encouragement in pursuing this course of fire. Also, to Ed for making the trip down to EAGC and being there. Hopefully, we can figure out the video thing and get his film posted as well.

Here are a few pics from yesterday's shoot.

Guest appearance of our very own Ed Lovell.

And we all got a booster shot of safety yesterday. the gent in the blue cavalry outfit (kepi and vest) almost shot himself in the foot (literally). The bullet impact was 4 inches from the toe of his boot! Now that would have been an introduction to CAS!

I wasn't fast but I didn't drop a weapon, shoot someone or me, and I hit most of the targets. All in all, I met my expectations, met some real nice folks, and think I'll stick with this CAS.

Wish we had CAS at our club. I used to shoot CAS, but the travel was getting to be tedious. It is a fun discipline. Great job Mike!
