Default COTEP OWB with Snaps

I think this might be the final design - this is still a prototype, since the holster that was ordered was to be lined, so I'll be making a new one with a couple of minor changes.

I made it a tad narrower, moved the pocket higher, reformed the pocket so that the back is much flatter, and made the belt loops wider (these are just after wet forming the loops):

From the back:

A good shot of the reformed pocket:

and from the other side:

I'm planning on basing my Yaqui slide holsters on the same design - essentially an open toed version of the same thing. As always, questions, comments, criticisms and suggestions are always appreciated.

make the loops snap the other way...from below the belt "up" to the snap
(like if the that holster was turned upside down )

that way if the snap came undone, the holster would be much less likely to slide down out of the belt

or cut 2" off the bottom of that holster and I wear it for a month as well as use it on the range for my live fire presentation drills

then I'll send it back with a written evaluation .

I can do that - I hate the way they look that way. I used directional snaps, so in theory, they shouldn't unsnap...

I'll put it in the queue...

Lane, I like where you are headed with this. I've looked a some snap versions before, but have never been happy with how much belt space they took up. I've usually gone for a pancake or Avenger style just because they were more compact. This looks much better.
