Default Para Ordnance

What's up with Para? Are they back in the game putting out a good product? I have been seeing a lot more positive reports than negative.

I handled one of their P14-45 double stack "Black Ops" model and it felt good in the hand.

What's the consensus?

Well, I don't know about their latest products, but I'd rather carry rocks then carry a Para. I would probably be more successful in hitting my target.
I have not seen one, and I have seen many come through our range, not have a problem.

Yeah, me too. If anything my KZ-45 you can call plastic, but Para didn't do that. Not that I recall.

Every one that I came across had FTF or FTE issues. So far every cop I know who had one wound up selling theirs. One, even after sending it back to Para to get it "fixed." I have issues with new guns that need to be sent back to get fixed before they function properly.

That makes sense to me.

I was just curious 'cause of the price tag they are asking for these things. $1000+

There have been a lot of updates to the company. Having Travis Tomasie on board has really bumped up the quality...or at least the design. Lots of good parts. IonBond finishes, EGW, Trijicon, VZ, and Ed Brown parts on almost all of there mid to higher end models.

Ive had a Para GI expert for about 4 years now. Have put roughly 5000 rounds thought it, and to be honest the thing runs great. Will shoot a 1 3/4" group at 25 off a rest for me and is a great platform for a project gun if you ask me. But Id honestly just rather buy another Valor.

Here is my Para Gi Expert (fairly modified)
