I think I’ll leave the Coonan in the bag and whenever some starts to rapid fire whatever they have, with no consideration of others I’ll run a mag or three out of it. Gee mommy look at the pretty rings of fire!
WRT the Mimber comments - I’ve owned three; a first generation Custom Classic (one of the best 1911 pistols I’ve ever owned), a Tactical Pro II (alloy frame Commander) that I traded it to get a “T” Series Browning Hi Power, and a Custom Carry 5” - like new in the box that I paid $625 for and sold it for $900. The kid I. Ought it from tried to use it for a trade-in at the shop he bought it new from but they offered him $500 as a trade-inon a $1,600 gun...bastards!

My first 1911 was a Kimber Custom Target Stainless ll or something like that, I wish I had kept it. Those pistols are nice and don’t get the recognition they deserve. I know some are outrageous and crap too, tho.
