I don’t know that. I’ll see if I can look that up. It takes 4 AA batteries. But it has a key backup.

I change the batteries on my locks twice a year, needed or not. Much better than finding corrosion on a $80 lock's electronics. Coordinated with my smoke dectector battery change. Easy to remember.

I still have a little work to do. Mainly to build the shelves that the rifles sit on. Right now I have them on the floor. But it’s a start.
Main rifle setup. Bins with mags and other odds and ends. A15 mag holder on the right. Pistols. The peg is too large for 22 pistols. The Mosin bayonet and other things.

Very nice, I like !!
The pistol pegs accept .380 and larger calibers only, nothing smaller from what I've gathered. Do the pieces that the long guns sit on/into not clip into the wall panels as well ????

They don’t. It surprised me at first. They are designed to sit on the shelves or the floor. I watched one video from the manufacturer and the reason is the shelf can hold more weight than the rifle trays would be able to hold by themselves. They had a 90 pound gun along with several other guns to show this. Fortunately the shelves are designed to hold six rifles a piece. So it should work fine for me.

Yeah .... I can see those pieces sitting on a shelf would be much stronger than just clipping into the panel itself .... makes sense now.
