Since 2006, I promised myself I would never bluff again after a run in with bad guys. I carry a Colt CCO .45 in Milt Sparks IWB, or Gun Tottin' Mama's purse, or thigh holster.

I've been carrying for 3 years now. I'm not sure why I waited so long to get a ccw permit. When I carry it's usually my Ultra CDP II.

Default Long time CCH

Hi,

I started in 1973 with a FOID card in Illinois (not carry, but at least I could own a pistol...)

In 1980s got my CC License in New York.

LFI from Masaad Ayoob in 1988. I passed this course using my Dan Wesson Model 15 from a complete pistol-pac. In our end of course shoot-off, I missed beating Mas by one point!

In 1996 got my CCH Permit in North Carolina.

In 2011 became a NC CCH Instructor.

I've carried wherever it's been legal, and like it here in North Carolina!

Marc

I carried a DW .357 in a shoulder holster, back in the 70's.
Didn't have a "legitimate need" for a CPL by 1980, cause I made a career change.
Then, around 1988 I found myself visiting crime scenes and designing alarm and video systems in Detroit. I just retired from that occupation, about a year ago. Will renew my CPL in about 2 yrs.
These are the pistols (pictured) that are in my very flexible carry routine.
I prefer the CBOB, in the little Galco or DeSantis (wich is ocupied by my C3 in this picture). Depends on my mood, the weather, where I'm going, etc.
Also in the line-up you will find my P220R in a Minotaur holster (no, those grips did not come with it), M&P 9mm w/thumb safety in Galco leather, Kahr C9 dressed in Don Hume, and my CZ 85 Combat 9mm is wearing it's Concealco holster.

I've only been carrying for about a year and a half. Primarily it's my CCO in either a Milt Sparks VMII or a Crossbreed SuperTuck.

When I need something smaller, I use a Sig P238 in either an RKBA or DeSantis Nemesis pocket holster.

I think I'll take a few new photos of the rigs later this week.

I have two: New York and Florida. 20+ years. Usually carry a DW CCO in VM2. Will admit to G23 in VM2 also. Sig P238 in Super Fly for pocket. Still don't have a camera

I've had CCW since 2008, Arizona. My normal carry piece is a Kimber Pro Carry CDP II in either a Crossbreed Super Tuck or a Galco Concealable OWB. Have another that may soon replace or alternate with the Kimber, a Springfield Loaded Stainless Champion.
