Just a quick update - I'm traveling a bit for work this week, so won't be able to do much.... But before I left, the mailman (or lady in my case) delivered the USN concho. I really like it and it looks good with the Mahogany/Black two tone.

So, I think we'll go forward with the rip off design, fully lined (suede side out like Larry's) with the Mahogany/Black combo with the USN concho high and proud on the front.

If it turns out like what's in my head, it'll be pretty neat.

I think I mentioned that the concho arrived - I haven't had a chance to work on it since then; in the process of having my driveway replaced. I think I've got a pretty good handle on how I'm going to put it together though.

I wish he'd finish the one he's making for me. I'm hoping to get back after them this weekend. I'm to the point of airbrushing the dye, but haven't been able to get to my tools due to the garage floor being replaced.
