If I carry my 1911 chambered in 45ACP it is always 230 grain FMJ ammo, nothing in my opinion is any better.

If I carry my Delta Elite chambered in 10MM then it is Hornady Custom 200 grain JHP XTP.

As for reloading, I've tried so far; Hornady Crit.Def. bullets, Hornady XTPs, Gold Dots and some Federal bullet. All failed one way or another. None of the mentioned bullets gave decent, consistant performance, even when driven at 900+FPS.
I use Hornady Crit Def in my .45 and apparently some very pricey Black Talon in my 9mm(4 clips - wait magazines worth).

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.
