Sweet Jesus guys.... This is is a Dan Wesson 1911 site. Do we really expect people to appreciate Glock enhancements?? Just sayin'...

Since I have a dog in this fight, I thought this was a Gun/Shooting site....
We Have all guns from old SAA's to Long guns to very small guns.

This might have started off as a Dan Wesson 1911 site....But I was invited to join, and Now that one of the premier shooting academies has gone to Glock, and everyone is showing off their leather, grips, knives etc... I see no problem to showing off one of the best selling guns in the world.

Yes, I shoot 1911's and carry them, but they are not Dan Wesson's and they are all custom made.....

Does that mean they can not be on the site.......

IMHO

And I own several s.... Which I like very very much. And I'll stand by my statement that this is primarily a 1911 dan wesson site and that we can't expect people to appreciate enhancements. Just sayin'

You're good. Padre is just pulling your chain since I'm not available to do it.

I like the muzzle brake that resembles that on a Barrett.

Question, what's with the one that has the biggo hook looking thingy hanging off the left side of the slide? Is that for easier cocking?

No, that is the coffee machine pull lever...

Yes, it is a slide racker, so you do not have to keep on hitting the red dot

With the announcement that the famous Gunsight training Academy has just adopted GLOCK as their basic gun to be used in training, I give you my latest update to one of my Glock 19 projects.

The gun is a Glock 19 lower with a new Ghost trigger system and an extended slide release. it is from the factory in OD Green (NOT PAINTED)

The slide is SS with front and rear sedations and a lower ejection port (puts shells out to the side not in your face)
The slide is Fail-Zero finished and left Matt
The barrel is from Lone Wolf and will take any round including Lead. With the high coast of bullets these day's it is cheeper to practice with Lead rounds.
The Barrel is also Fail-Zero finished and polished smooth.
The internals of the slide are SS guide rod with an 11# ISMI spring. The safety plunger is titanium along with the striker and has water proof caps on the striker .

The underside of the trigger has had relief to get rid of "Glock Finger" and all in all a nice fast gun to shoot.

This is what it looks like:

Thanks for looking

Happy New Year

I hope this is not the gun chosen by "GUNSITE". That would be sacrilege!!!! The Col. would roll over in his grave.

Who is using them? All I have seen is that they now offer a Glock in the Pro Shop. I can't see any of the instructors using them. If this is true Buzz has lost his mind. As Law enforcement agencies across the country are dumping Glock due to reliability issues.
