They are not bad for the most part. Until you drive 2000 miles and this is your reward. I cropped my info out as it is hard to decipher. I went from Memphis to Denver to des Moines and to home. Should have had some money.

I'm confused. If they are as you say it "not bad to work for", then why are you not getting paid, out of a job and stuck in KC broke? Sounds to me like they are as shady as everyone else seems to think of them as.

But hey, it's the company you work for or at least worked for, as I don't know the complete situation. Best of luck getting back to your family.

FWIW, I do appreciate you and I being able to have a civil conversation again.

Joe - when you feel better and things are more settled, can you tell us whether or not Swift gave you a plausible explanation for why they didn't pay you what you earned? Could it be a matter of filing a wage claim with the Dept. of Labor in the state where Swift is HQ'ed? I'm actually considering something similar myself for a venture that failed for me last year.
