Dang , I've seen field grade officers with less medals....you really were a kiss *** huh? Just kidding, I'm sure you earned everyone of them! Oh yeah, my itty bitty collection. 6 yrs, peace time, what do you expect? The silver medal with lanyard attached is a German weapons qualification award called the Schutzenschnur. It's worn as pictured centered, on the right shoulder, hooking up under the right breast lapel. Got to shoot German Lugers, an MG-42 and a few other guns. Pissed off a lot of people in my company as I was awaiting an Article 15 and still got to go and do this, only a select few were chosen. We won't go into why I was in trouble...hehehehe |
