Good show, . Like the shot gun and the medallions and love the sentiment behind the gift. Nice rifle, too. I understand that diamonds and jewelry work but I suspect that in your case and certainly in mine we are fortunate that our wives like us best when we are happy.... and they try to keep us that way.

So I customized the AK a little more. Installed a Magpul stock and Ultimak rail system that replaces the gas tube and top furniture as well as a two point sling.

Here I'm running it through its paces last week. I'm on the right as you look at the video. Sorry for the quality but it was my friend's phone.

My goal is to buy and install a reflex sight, preferably a Trijicon MRO.

Very nice. I'm puzzling over the tactical O/U. Is it for door busting?

Me too. Impractical for door busting. We (SWAT) would use a regular pump with a stand-off muzzle.
A little over the top for my taste. But hey, can't or won't turn down a freebie.

All right. One project done. This rifle is now complete and ready to go.
Today I installed a Trijicon MRO and went to the range to zero it in.

Lo and behold it was already zeroed for 50 yards. Which is where I like it. Didn't have to make any adjustments.
This is from 7 to 25 yards, standing.

Next project is to put back together a Bushamster shorty to sell so I can finish my G21 and redo my Noveske AR.
