Another Norn Levine stag handled fixed blade knife. Absolutely stunning.












I think overall this knife is just under 2” long overall!

Original Westinghouse Micarta, scrimshaw, made by George. That’s all I know about this knife.

Nearing completion on the big Bowie I'm making. All that is left is to send it off for heat treating and then pin the handle and polish.

Blade: D2 heat treated to 59 Rockwell (hopefully) and then cryo treated to convert any remaining austenite to martensite.

Handle: Golden Ebony. Twice as hard as red oak, sinks in water. I will probably put a sealer on it to prevent darkening with age, but it requires no finish and can be polished to a mirror finish with fine crocus cloth.

Sheath: 5/32" thick tooling leather, finished to match the ebony.

Here is what it looks like. It will be shinier after completion.
