As far as wear on the scrimshaw, yes, they will wear some, but not quickly, especially if you keep some wax or other sealer on them. If they ever need retouching, just let me know. Same for anyone else with a pair of grips I've done. ETA: How do you like the flat trigger? Jason |

I've got Renaissance Wax on them as per your recommendations, and if/when they wear, I'll send them on back for retouching. As to the flat trigger, this is my first pistol with one. I did a fair amount of dry firing with another before deciding to give it a try. Turns out I like it a lot. Doesn't matter where your finger is on that trigger when you draw, it always feels the same. It took some getting used to, but I won't go back to a curved trigger any more, and will likely have my other guns changed over time. Tom

Since I'm still newish here, I am looking back at some threads.
What a great read and build thread this is! The pistol came out Badass. Those three sets of grips are beautiful! Thanks for sharing! PS: Only thing I would change is....... Smooth out the hammer serrations and re-checker it to match the the rear slide LPI. Just my opinion.
