Default Russell County Regulators monthly match

Yesterday, being the first Saturday, the Russell County Regulators held our monthly match . I used this as an opportunity to check out all my weapons before the Florida State Match, the Siege at St. Augustine, which is this week conditions were really cold for this part of the world with temps at 3 at start and a whopping 38 at the end of the match. I am really looking forward to the trip to FL. Redstone Rider aka will be there too.

I had three misses for the day, not very good, and I would blame them on the weather but like Jimmy Buffet in Margaritaville, it's my own d÷×n fault. On the bright side, all the weapons are ready to go, tested and wiped down.

Despite the cold, it was a good day and reminded me of the conditions the troopers of the Eufaula Rifles endured with no Chevy truck with heated seats to ride home in, during the mid 1800s.

Expect, reports with pics of the Siege latter this week.
