Default Got skunked deer wise thanksgiving morning

Sat out there for 4 hours, Just squirrels.

Went back out at 2. The whole neighborhood had kids out and about till 3:45.

Right at 4:05 a Doe and her two button bucks walked up.

I thumped the first, He ran 20 yards and keeled over.

Re-cocked the crossbow, and seated a bolt.

I heard his brother stomping around. When he was in range i thumped him also.

He ran 20 yards.

A quick gut and I was out by 4:30.

Total so far 9.

Aaron, I'll be out shopping at Cabelas tomorrow.... so you won't catch me at home. I can be available Monday/Tuesday night (four days of hanging) to help butcher. Give me a call and I'll come by.

Two bucks, Two does in the zone i live in. Then there is a replacement tag for antlerless deer. (button buck, young of the year doe, and doe) For every 3 replacement tags you get one more buck tag.

as i took this picture tonight a 6 point was feeding at my feeder 15yds to the left of these two.
