Default Pair of Ponies

I'm really enjoying this CAS Sport. Challenging, relaxing, friendly, and not too hard on the body. So, having always been a traditionalist, I wanted to be shooting Colts. Over several months of searching I found two I liked. Only problem was you needed to be like Big John of song fame to cock and fire those suckers! So I sent them off to Gunfire Arms and Ammo in Loxahatchee, FL to let Kid Celero work his magic. I met KC last January through fellow COTEPian . Now they are slick as black ice! Not only that, had some white grips which give me the look I was hoping for. I'm taking them to the range this afternoon but wanted you to see how they look.

Those are fine looking Colts! I'm glad you got the action smoothed out on them.

The biggest pain in the a** you'll probably ever have to deal with watches you from the mirror every morning.

Good judgment comes from experience, and most of that comes from bad judgment.

Well howdy pard

So, I am happy that you liked the job done on your Colts.
When they came into the shop, I almost broke my thumb trying to shoot them.
We pushed to up in line, so that you will have them for you Club Competition and have a few weeks to get use to them.
Insides are tuned and in some parts have been changed. I know you were trying to find the grips you wanted and in a weak moment, I went into the safe and took out 2 pairs and had them fitted to the Colt frames.
So I suggest, you get on your pony, strap on your holsters, pop those beauties into the leather and get to the rage and start shooting.
But most of pard, be safe.......
and looking forward to a complete report.
Just remember what I told you, the work is fully guaranteed for life or when they left the shop, which ever comes first

Yeehaaa
