Aftermarket 1911 Barrels
Hey there,
I hope I'm putting this post in the right place but I wanted to see what your thoughts were on some of the aftermarket "match grade" barrels out there. I did some searching from my mobile app on the site and didn't find what I was looking for so I hope I'm not asking an already beat-to-death question but I want to build or have built another 9MM variant possibly and was wondering if y'all had any guidance from your collective experience. I've heard decent chatter about Kart barrels and wanted to see if anyone could chime in, thanks! |

I have had Barsto Barrels installed in a 1911 (by Robar) and a Baretta 92FS (by Ernest Langdon). Both work very well.
http://www.barsto.com/ Good luck.

Well, I'm not John's buddy Arnel but, I've built three 1911s with Kart Barrels, one of them a Bullseye gun, for customers in the past. All three would shoot better than I could hold ( I was shooting three-gun Bullseye for the Ohio air Guard at the time). Kart barrels are excellent. Joe Chambers likes them, that is saying something.
