Remington R1 1911 Enhanced. Have one?
Anybody have one of these? I looked at one today, can get it for $850.00 out the door. Like ths sights! Finish and fit are very good. Series 80. Guess I can live with it.

I saw one at a local shop and I was unimpressed for the price. Finish was starting to wear around the thumb safety and on the sides of the grip safety just from being handled. Looked like a very nice $700 gun to me. For $850, I'd spend my money on something else.

FWIW Got my 1911R1 for $669.00 (not enhanced) and it had a rebate of $50.00. Just got the check. I've shot it and handled it quite a bit and have had no problems or signs of wear. It's a nice shooter right out of the box.

Got it and it's Good!
I got the R1911 R1 "Enhanced". it shoots accurate and has shot over 200 rnds. without issue, tried 4 different brand mags, several types of ammo. not a hiccup! Nice 1911 for the price IMHO.
I normally don't care for series 80 1911's. But I'll get over it. The trigger is pretty good for a series 80! I know, you want pics! Coming real soon!
