Glock 19
I hate to tell you guys this but I decided to retire my 1911's for daily carry.
It's a long story but partly due to my agency issuing the 19's. So, I bought my own as well. Here she is. |

Don't tell anyone, but I've got two of those 19's that "slipped" into the US. They have the Austrian proof marks and I'm absolutely positive someday I can sell them and make a fortune. (Probably won't live long enough)

Always recommend that a person buy their own version of an issues weapon to practice with.
I couldnt bring myself to carry anything but a 1911. But certainly your circumstances make since to me.
