Goldcoast gun slingers 06-02-12

Well Howdy Y'all,
Another day at Cowboy shooting in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Markham Park with the Goldcoast Gun Slingers.
The day started out at 5:50 A.M. with heavy rain and a forecast of heavy rain with possible flooding (70 %) throughout out the morning hours. But being a good competitor and sport, I decided what the heck, if it rains; it rains, We are in Florida in the rainy season

I arrived at our club shooting location, walking pretty good and less paining my face from the root canal I had on Thursday. I decided that I would take it easy today and have some fun, especially since my Marlin was just back from the Cowboy Gun Smith to have an action job done.
I might tell you that since Jack (our Cowboy Smith) is part of our posse he did a GREAT job, the action is as SMOOOOOOTH as Glass and the gun shot great.
He has now worked on my shotgun, and lever and will get my Six Guns next for an action job and lighter springs.
Well as the shooting gods will have it not only did the sun come out but the temp. went quickly up to 89 and the water started to flow. As fast as you could drink a bottle of water you sweat it out.
Drink, Sweat, Drink, Sweat, (where is a long neck when you need one)

Any way we all had some fun, a good crowd and I am glad to report that my back is ok, and next week it is back for score (some serious shooting)
