Is this a good deal?
I'm thinking I need a compact 1911, and have been looking at the usual suspects (Springfield, Colt, DW). Based on some of the discussions here, I started looking at the RIA.
A local FFL (works out of his garage) has this one for sale, new in box. Is $419 a good price? Is the RIA compact a good pistol for a little concealed carry gun? Thanks! Lane

Of course... depends on the model Lane. The RIA compact is $389 at Centerfire. But then you have to pay shipping and usually a transfer fee. In CT that is 30-50 bucks. So your around $429 +/- plus shipping. Sounds reasonable to buy from your guy. Here's the Centerfire Systems RIA page for comparison:

Hello, You will find out that different parts of the Country have different prices on Guns IMHO that is a Good Deal........... Better get it before it is Gone
