No other words right now but total disbelief that a jury of Californians let this pos off to get deported AGAIN. Wonder how long till he is back in San Fran and robbing and killing again.

As egregious as the verdict is, it may have been a case of the procecutor doing a terrible job rather than giving this turd a pass, even in the DPRK.

Casey Anthony case comes to mind...

Or OJ. It's all about raising "reasonable doubt." That's all a defense atty. has to do. And it's a hard standard (91% certainty) to meet. Sometimes, I think prosecutors rely to heavily on *reverse* Jury nullification... that is, hoping the jury will be so outraged with the crime that happened that they'll go ahead and convict the defendant, even when presented a week case. It won't work. I know. I've served on such a jury.

Hopefully, the feds can file other charges, etc.

Here’s the thing. There have been many convictions due to accidental or negligent discharges. The gun wasn’t obscured under a rag and he stepped on it and discharged it. It was in his hand and it discharged. He knew he was a felon and shouldnt have even touched it, which he was found guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon. The defense got the jurors to believe the gun just went off on its own. The logic over there is so twisted that they believe that guns will go off by themselves and this guy was just in the wrong place.

Another point that sticks in the back of my mind is that the gun was “found” 4 days after it was stolen from the officers car. Let’s say this guy wasn’t the original thief of the gun. Who breaks into a car, finds a gun and then just tosses it? 4 Days from theft to crime. Not many hands it could have passed through. I would be all over that investigation of the original theft trying to see if there was a link to this guy.

The only thing left now is for the family to sue the crap out of the municipality that released him while he had a deportation order. We can’t stop people from sneaking into the country no matter how high a wall is built. Maybe it makes it harder but it will never be 100%. However once we have deported someone for felony crimes we shouldn’t just release them onto the street when they have an active deportation order. The saddest thing is that any judgment against a city the size of San Francisco would need to be in the Billions to make them notice. Even then it would still be taxpayer money. Maybe if the tax payers see Billion dollar judgments against sanctuary policies they will rethink them and vote out the polititans who allow sanctuary.

Only if we can super glue his ass to the pointy end and we use one that ends "WITH REPORT"
